laser cutting one day brief

Today I had the privilege of working in the laser cutting studio with a very open brief. We were given wood and perspex and told we could create any word that we deemed to be important. Going into the workshop today I have to be honest that I've been feeling negative about university and the whole "did I make the right decision" nerves were all I was focusing on. For me change is a very important word, it may not seem fancy or interesting but it reflected my emotions. I was struggling with the changes that have been happening over the past five weeks which lead nicely onto my choice of word for the wood. I chose breathe as it's exactly what I need to do! I often stress out and get worked up over small things and need to remind myself to relax and in this case breathe. I decided to place a comma after the word to symbolise taking a breath. Getting yourself focused on the goal and ready to move forward in a positive way. This really summarises my time at university so far and after today I feel more confident in why I am here and why I want to achieve this degree.
