animation final outcome
Final outcome from Rosie Howe on Vimeo.
Above I have my final outcome that I presented for hand in. Although from the feedback there may be additional changes before it can be considered final. I added movement to a certain piece of text to reflect the change of sound with Perry's voice however it was suggested that it was out of place within the rest of the animation. In regards to the other elements I am pleased with how I managed to incorporate Perry's pottery work and style within the animation.

learning after effects
First experiments from Rosie Howe on Vimeo.
Initial developments from Rosie Howe on Vimeo.
For our animation project were were given an artist, designer, theme etc at random and then had to choose a quote either by them or about them. I was given Grayson Perry and after listening to all 4 of his Reith Lectures I settled on the quote used above. I have used after effects before but only briefly and not in the way that was now required. However this was an extremely fun project that I enjoyed experimenting on. Featured above are two of my earliest animations, purely trying to get to grips with the software. From here I decided to go more in the direction of Perry's style and wanted to incorporate his love of pottery into the design.
