manifesto project
Over our christmas break we were set a brief centred around learning how to use indesign. We were given a choice of three manifestos, I decided to choose quotations by Bill Bernbach. Above are a few stages throughout my project and below my final piece. I took a different approach to this project by not working on one page. Every time I made a drastic change I would copy and paste all the design elements onto a new page within an indesign document. This enabled me to reflect upon the changes that I've made and go back and fourth between ideas. When I was coming closer to my final stages I decided to take ideas from previous pages and combine the two. I feel that this working method enabled me to create my strongest layout instead of restricting myself to only my current ideas. Overall I feel that my final result is strong although it cannot be read. At this stage we were told that legibility isn't an issue but as a personal project for myself I would like to make a fully readable version.
