Throughout the project I had been struggling with where my project was going and decided to make the brave decision to go back to the drawing board. I wanted to draw all the pasta shapes from the very beginning but found it difficult to complete these on illustrators. After getting to grips with the program a little more I backed myself in the decision to change my idea. I'm so glad that I made this move and feel that these read as pasta even in the silhouette forms compared to my previous ideas. From here I want to draw a greater range of shapes scaled to real life. I then want to use my shapes as a layout exercise organising them within a rigid rectangular shape.
